After a 1-1 series, India defeated South Africa by 10 wickets in the third women's T20I match
In the 2024 women's T20 series final match, played on Tuesday at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium, the Indian women's cricket team defeated South Africaby a margin of 10 wickets.
After the second Twenty20 match was canceled on Sunday, the series came to a 1-1 draw. After winning the toss, Indian T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur chose to bowl first.
Radha Yadav had a session of 3/6 and Pooja Vastrakar claimed four wickets to help bowl out the visitors for a just 84 runs. The South African women's cricket team's top scorer was Tazmin Brits (20).
In response, India achieved a comprehensive 10-wicket victory because to openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma, who both finished undefeated and helped the team accomplish the mark in just 10.5 overs.
Mandhana gave the Women in Blue a half-century.

Indian openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma spearheaded an undefeated 88-run partnership for the first wicket while chasing a modest target.
Mandhana reached a half-century with a 54* score in 40 deliveries. Eight boundaries and two sixes in her innings. Shafali scored three fours to add 27 off of 25.
