In their T20 World Cup 2024 Group D match against Nepal, South Africa triumphed thrillingly by one run on Saturday (IST). The Proteas advance undefeated into the Super 8s with this win, maintaining a spotless record throughout the group stage.
Even though they were miles away from the stadium, people all around the nation got up early to cheer on the squad and watched on television. Despite keeping South Africa to 115 runs, Nepal lost by one run when they were unable to make 18 runs off of the last 18 balls.
