Gulf Giants retains Dipendra Singh Airee for the next ILT20
The renowned all-rounder Dipendra Singh Aireeof Nepal is scheduled to return to International League T20 (ILT20) cricket. The Emirates Cricket Board is in charge of the official franchise league in the United Arab Emirates, or ILT20.
Despite not playing in any games during the previous edition, Airee has been kept by the Gulf Giants for this one. Despite being signed in the latter stages of the competition, he was never named in the starting lineup.
Chris Jordan, Shimron Hetmyer, and Rehan Ahmed are among the elite players that the Gulf Giants led by James Vince of England have kept. Associate stars like Aayan Afzal Khan and Gerhard Erasmus have also been retained.
In the T20I rankings, Airee is presently rated as the sixth-best all-around player, which is the highest position a Nepalese player has ever held. He is an invaluable asset in T20 cricket due to his superb fielding abilities and ability with both bat and ball.
On January 11, 2025, the third season of ILT20 will go off with six teams participating. The first and second season champions, respectively, are Gulf Giants and MI Emirates.
