With a thrilling shootout victory over New Zealand at Hove, England took a 2-0 lead in the five-match T20 series.

England threw caution to the wind, hammering five sixes to reach 89 for six in a match that was originally cut to nine overs each side after the start was postponed by two hours due to rain.

In an England innings full of cameos, Alice Capsey top-scored with 28 off 15 balls, twice clearing the rope, and Nat Sciver-Brunt struck a monster blow that took Lea Tahuhu out of the ground.

After 6.4 overs, with their opponents down to 42 for five due to yet another deluge, New Zealand was unable to equal their opponents.
