Nepal's National Cricket Team Returns Home after T20 World Cup
Arriving back in Kathmandu early on Thursday morning, the team had played matches throughout America and the West Indies.
Nepal returned to this esteemed tournament after a 14-year absence when their World Cup journey ended in the group stage without a victory.
Nepal faced difficult obstacles in all four of their games; in their final encounter, they were eliminated from the competition after losing to Bangladesh by 21 runs.
Earlier matches included a 6 wicket loss to the Netherlands, a rain-postponed match against Sri Lanka, and a narrow 1 run loss to South Africa.
Bangladesh advanced from Nepal's group to the Super 8 stage, but South Africa emerged victorious in the group despite their best attempts.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) greeted the team home when they arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
