Tanzim Hasan vs. Rohit Paudel: Nepal captain responds after argument with Bangladeshi star
Nepal was given another opportunity to defeat a Test-playing country in their first T20I victory. Even though the target was only 107, Nepal lostby 21 runs because the hitters faltered in the run chase once more.
Tensions erupted throughout the low-scoring match, and in a memorable opening period, teenage Bangladeshi pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib sledged Nepal captain Rohit Paudel.
Sakib glared, sledged, and then shoved Paudel, but the captain of Nepal put out the fires and put an end to a fresh feud on the cricket pitch before it could get any bigger.
As they came face to face, Tanzim Sakib and Rohit Paudel started pointing fingers at one another. The on-field umpire intervened and removed both of them from the argument just as it was about to blow out.
Paudel insisted that he didn't have any issues with Tanzim and asserted that the pacer tried to motivate him by pushing him to pursue his bowling. The captain of Nepal stated that all he did was tell him to go back to the mark and continue bowling.
Tanzim stole the show as Bangladesh defeated Nepal by 21 runs, scuttling their top order with 4 for 7 in 4 overs. Paudel did come into contact with the pacer; he was the victim of his fierce spell.
