Taskin Ahmed denies strange claims that he "overslept" and missed the T20WC match vs IND
Taskin Ahmed, a key player for Bangladesh, has denied rumors that he was left out of the starting lineup for the T20 World Cup matchagainst India because he slept in too late and missed the team van.
Taskin, the Bangladeshi team's vice captain, was not present for the pivotal Super 8 match at the massive ICC event. In their lineup from the previous game, the Bangla Tigers added Jaker Ali in place of Taskin.
The bowler denied the accusation that vice captain Taskin Ahmed was benched by Bangladesh for team combination issues during the pivotal Super Eights match against India at the T20 World Cup because he overslept and missed the team van.
The Tigers made just one alteration to the lineup, swapping Taskin for Jaker Ali, and Bangladesh lost by 50 runs in the match played on June 22 in North Sound, Antigua. "I was a little late, but I reached at the ground before the toss,"
