ACC releases the Women's Asia Cup 2024 schedule
The 2024 ACC Women's Asia Cupschedule has been modified and released by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The competition, which will take place in Sri Lanka, begins on July 19.
Eight teams, split into two groups of four teams each, will compete in this year's Women's Asia Cup. Each group's top two teams will move on to the semifinals.
With only two berths available, Nepal was initially left out of the competition following a close loss to Malaysia in the ACC Women's Premier Cup semifinal. However, Nepal's spot was confirmed when the ACC later declared that all semifinalists from that competition would qualify.
The Nepalese squad is working hard in Kathmandu right now in order to be ready for the Asia Cup. The final roster has not yet been revealed, and they are in a closed camp.
Nepal, India, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates are in Group A. In a similar vein, Group B comprises Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.
