Australia A-India An August launch date for a women's multiformat series
In August, AustraliaA and India A will play a multi-format series in Queensland. Tahlia McGrath, Kim Garth, Megan Schutt, and Tayla Vlaeminck will play limited-overs cricket for the home team.
The itinerary for the visit includes three Twenty20 matches in Brisbane, three 50-over matches in Mackay, and a four-day Gold Coast tournament.
Vice-captain McGrath of Australia will head the T20 and 50-over teams, while Charli Knott, an all-rounder from Queensland, will skipper the four-day team. Prominent domestic players who hope to stake their claims for greater accolades are included in all three squads.
Players from both nations will get an exceptional opportunity to play extended cricket during the four-day match.
"I'm really looking forward to being a part of this series and for the challenge that India Awill pose," McGrath stated. "It presents those of us not playing in the Hundred with the chance to prepare for a huge summer against a strong opposition."
Before going to Bangladesh for the T20 World Cup, Australia will play three T20I matches against New Zealand in mid-September to get back into action.
