Foreign Players Lead in Runs and Wickets Rankings Before NPL Finale
31 out of 32 matches have been completed in Nepal Premier League (NPL). The final match will be played between Sudurpaschim Royals and Janakpur Boltson Saturday.
The winner will get a cash prize of 111 million. So far, foreign players are ahead among the players who have scored the most runs and taken wickets individually.
Foreign players are ahead in terms of individual highest run scorers and wicket takers. Scott Kugelein of Sudurpaschim Royals, who reached the final, is ahead in wicket takers with 16 wickets. Lalit Rajwanshi of Janakpur Bolts has also taken the same number of wickets.
Similarly, the highest run scorer isRavi Bopara of Chitwan Rhinos. He has scored 286 runs. Similarly, Lumbini Lions captain Rohit Paudel has scored 279 runs.
Both players' teams are not in the finals. So Jimmy Neesham of Janakpur Bolts who is chasing them can overtake them. Neesham is in third place with 243 runs.
