Former India head coach Ravi Shastri says he's "feeling like a drug lord" while sharing a photo from their Antigua breakfast table.
Former head coach of crew India, Ravi Shastri, is on the broadcast crew for the ongoing T20 World Cupin the Caribbean right now.
Shastri returned to full-time broadcasting after stepping down as the team's head coach in 2021, and he now serves as the main face during halftime shows from some of the largest sporting events.
On Friday, Shastri posted a picture of himself eating breakfast while dressed like a "drug lord" on the microblogging platform X. However, he was still worrying about his luggage, which hadn't arrived from Barbados.
"Even though my luggage is stuck on another island, I'm feeling like a drug lord at breakfast in this gorgeous attire here in Antigua. I'm eager for it to come soon! Shastri wrote in the caption, "#AntiguaVibes #TravelAdventures #BreakfastViews."
Shastri was providing commentary for India's Wednesday match against Afghanistan in Barbados, where his green headgear stole the show.
As he called the match with Dinesh Karthik, the former head coach of India disclosed that he got the idea from a guy called Stephen, who makes hats by hand on a Barbados beach on the island's west coast.
