India and Pakistan will face off in the World Championship of Legends final
The World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2024 between Pakistan and India is scheduled to take place on Saturday (today) at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham.
The World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2024 was contested on Friday at the County Ground in Northampton. Pakistan defeated West Indies by 20 runs in the first semi-final, while India Champions defeated Australia Champions by 86 runs in the second semi-final.
India and Pakistan have one of the most illustrious rivalries in cricket history, with both teams giving it their all to produce some of the best matches.
Currently, neither team has lost in the WCL 2024. India, the Blues, overcame England and the West Indies, while Pakistan, the Green Shirts, triumphed against Australia and the West Indies.
With four points from two matches, India and Pakistan are now atop the WCL points standings. Nonetheless, India has the upper hand over its fiercest opponents thanks to their remarkable +1.457 Net Run Rate (NRR).
India defeated England in the opening match of the tournament by chasing down a target of 166 runs. They used the DLS system to defeat the West Indies by 27 runs in their second encounter.
In the meantime, Pakistan made a spectacular start to the competition by defeating Australia by pursuing a 190-run mark. They set a 195-run target and successfully defended it in their second game.
Given that both India and Pakistan are currently unbeaten and in great form, the forthcoming match looks to be a tremendous match.
