India's T20I Series Schedule Against South Africa Announced by BCCI

The official schedule for India's November 2024 tour of South Africa, which will include four T20 International (T20I) matches, has been released by Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Recent bilateral T20 International Test series between India and South Africa have been exciting, with India winning two of the last five series and drawing three of the previous five.

The last time South Africa triumphed in a series against India was back in 2015. Beyond bilateral series, though, the Men in Blue were defeated by the Proteas in their most recent match at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022.

The BCCI's Honourary Secretary, Jay Shah, expressed optimism that the forthcoming series will showcase the sport's best players on the field once more and provide exciting, high-stakes matches.

"Both South Africa and India are quite proud of their longstanding, close relationship. South African cricket fans have always showered the Indian cricket team with affection and gratitude, and the Indian fans feel the same way about the South African team.

"I'm sure the forthcoming series will showcase the best cricketing on-field talent once more and provide exciting, high-stakes matches," he said.
