India's team for the first two T20 Internationals against Zimbabwe has recruited three players
For the five-match Twenty20 International series against Zimbabwe, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made three changes to the Indian team.
For the first two games, players who are still in Barbados, such as Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana, have been added to the squad in place of Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Starting on July 6, India's five-match Twenty20 International series against Zimbabwe will see Shubam Gill take charge of the team for the first time.
In Zimbabwe, Shubman Gill will serve as team captain, and VVS Laxman, the chairman of the National Cricket Academy and a former batter, will serve as coach.
In the Indian Premier League (IPL) of 2024, Sudharsan played for the Gujarat Titans, captained by Gill. The BCCI had earlier shared images of players including Abhishek Sharma, Avesh Khan, Riyan Parag, Mukesh Kumar, and Ruturaj Gaikwad, announcing that the team has left for Harare.
