Nepal Premier League 2024: A New Begining for Nepali Cricket

The NPL organizing officials have announced the launch date of the much-awaited NPL 2024and that is for November 30 of this year. The people will witness the final match on December 21st with all the matches being played on Tribhuvan University Ground. The Nepali cricket fans are in for a treat as this league promises to include top international players in its roster.

While addressing the press conference, the former Indian player Shikhar Dhawanwho is playing for Karnali Yaks, stated “The love amongst the people for cricket in Nepal has high. This tournament would be crucial in further assisting the growth of this sport in the country.


An Excellent Platform for New Comers

NPL is a good chance for junior players, giving them practical insights playing with pro-standard age mates. Dhawan said, “Young players in Nepal will have great chances to learn, from professionals coming all over I can’t wait to play the first match of this league and begin the contest." This year in August, Dhawan, who has played 222 IPL matches and scored 6769 runs, retired from international cricket. His involvement, in the company of other emaciated players of world-class status, has increased the stature of the league.

Famous Players and Competitive Teams

This first season of NPL will bring to action some of the famous international cricketers such as Ben Cutting, Unmukt Chand, Ravi Bopara, Chadwick Walton, and Merchant de Lange.
