Nepal's opponents in Australia's Top End T20 Series are revealed
Nepal is among 11 teams set to compete in the fourth edition of the Top End T20 Series, held in Darwin, Australia, from August 14 to 24. Organized by NT Cricket, this year’s tournament features a record four international teams—Nepal, Pakistan A, Bangladesh A, and the USA’s Chicago Kingsmen—alongside six Big Bash League academy teams and hosts NT Strike.
A total of 36 matches will be played across five venues: DXC Arena, TIO Stadium, Gardens Oval, Cazaly’s Arena, and Freds Pass. Despite the 11 teams, each will only play six games in a partial round-robin style.
The event begins with Pakistan vs. Bangladesh at TIO Stadium. Nepal's campaign kicks off on August 15 against NT Strike at DXC Arena, followed by matches against Bangladesh (August 16), Melbourne Stars (August 18), Hobart Hurricanes (August 19), and Melbourne Renegades (August 20). Nepal's last group match is against Pakistan on August 22, also at the DXC Arena. Fans wearing team jerseys to this match will receive free admission, according to ticketing partner Ticketebo.
The top four teams will advance to the semifinals, with the 1st vs. 4th match at DXC Arena and the 2nd vs. 3rd clash at Gardens Oval, both on August 24. The final will also be held on the same day at 4 PM local time at DXC Arena.
