CID detains two individuals and the head of the Hyderabad Cricket Association for money laundering and forgery

The Telangana CID has arrested Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) officials Jagan Mohan Rao, Rajender Yadav, and G. Kavitha for forgery, cheating, and fund misappropriation. They allegedly used fake documents to fraudulently secure Rao's HCA presidency and misused public funds. They are also accused of threatening IPL Sunrisers Hyderabad officials for tickets and perks.

The Telangana Wrongdoing Examination Division (CID) has captured three authorities from the Hyderabad Cricket Affiliation (HCA) in a case including cheating, imitation, abuse of reserves, and breaking open trust.

Dharam Guruva Reddy, the Telangana Cricket Association's (TCA) common secretary, filed a complaint, which led to the captures.  Inquiries were conducted on July 9 against HCA President A. Jagan Mohan Rao, Treasurer C. Srinivas Rao, CEO Sunil Kante, Common Secretary Rajender Yadav, and his wife G. Kavita.

On July 10, the CID affirmed the capture of Jagan Mohan Rao, Rajender Yadav, and Kavitha. The examination is still ongoing.

According to the CID, Jagan Mohan Rao, with offer assistance from Rajender Yadav and Kavitha, faked records of Sri Chakra Cricket Club and claimed they were from Gowlipura Cricket Club. In order to deceitfully give Jagan the position of HCA president, they did in fact produce the signature of the president of the Gowlipura club.

Investigators moreover found that Jagan Mohan Rao, together with treasurer Srinivas Rao, CEO Sunil Kante, and others, abused HCA reserves and broke open believe.
