Babar Azam will now be captained by Mohammad Rizwan
Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistani team, will now be led by wicket keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan. On Sunday, Rizwan was named captain of the Vancouver Knights, a team in the Global T20 Canada League.
The Pakistani opener was also given the title of "sir" by the GT20 Canada franchise in their social media release.

Prepare for battle, Knights! The Vancouver Knights declared Rizwan to be their captain in a Facebook post.
Jeremy Gordon of Guyana, Ruben Trumpelmann of Namibia, Asif Ali, Pacer Muhammad Amir, Michael Rippon of New Zealand, and Dwaine Pretorius of South Africa are also Knights.The fourth season of GT20 Canada will get out on July 25 and conclude on August 11 in Canada.
There will be seven Pakistani cricket players involved in the league match: Muhammad Nawaz, Asif, Amir, Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Barber.
