CAN awards Sandeep Lamichhane a Grade A central contract
One of the most well-known cricket players in Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane, has finally received some good news: the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has given him a Grade A central contract for this season.
The term of this agreement is July 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The choice was made during Thursday's CAN central committee meeting.
Lamichhane has made history by being the first bowler from Nepal to take 100 wickets in T20 Internationals.
Captain Rohit Paudel, Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Dipendra Singh Airee, Asif Sheikh, and Kushal Bhurtel are among the other players on the Grade "A" central contract.
Kushal Malla, Gulshan Jha, Bhim Sharki, Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi, Arif Sheikh, and Abinash Bohara are the players in Grade "B," and their monthly pay is 70,000 rupees.
Binod Bhandari, Arjun Saud, Sandeep Jora, and Pratish GC are classified as grade "C" employees and are paid 55,000 rupees per month.
Pawan Sarraf, Sagar Dhakal, Anil Sah, Vivek Kumar Yadav, Akash Chand, Basir Ahmed, and Surya Tamang are Grade "D" players who would get a salary of 35,000 rupees per month from CAN.
