Why did Shaheen Afridi, a Pakistani bowler, and Mohammad Yousuf had a "heated argument"
Prior to the recently finished T20 World Cup, Pakistani bowler Shaheen Afridi and batting coach Mohammad Yousuf got into heated disputesduring the team's T20 International tour to England.
Reports concerning coaches' and management's concerns to Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi regarding Shaheen's behavior during their most recent tour emerged on Thursday.
Following a heated confrontation between Shaheen and Yousuf, the pacer apologized to him.
The problem was resolved expeditiously, according to multiple sources within the Pakistan cricket team administration, and it was in the "heat of the moment" at the time.
Yousuf called Shaheen's no-balls during a training session, according to a person who recalled the incident. This led to a heated discussion. When he was constantly called out for his no-balls, Shaheen became enraged.
A source informed Geo News that Shaheen told Mohammad Yousuf to "mind his own business" and that Yousuf should "let him do what he was doing." Yousuf replied that he was a coach and was carrying out his duties.
The source said, "This was nothing more than a routine case of heat-of-the-moment, so the chapter was closed there and then." When questioned about why the PCB wasn't notified, the source declined.
