Zimbabwe is crushed by India by 100 runs
In the second Twenty20 International match between Zimbabwe and Indiaat the Harare Sports Club on July 7, Zimbabwe's innings collapsed for 134 runs in 18.4 overs after setting a lofty target of 235 runs. India won by 100 runs with this.
In T20Is, this is Zimbabwe's largest losing margin ever by runs. Zimbabwe was previously defeated by Australia in 2018 by a score of 100 runs. Player of the match went to Abhishek Sharma because of his incredible innings and first-ever hundred.
Wessly Madhevere (43) and Brian Bennett (26) made a few runs for Zimbabwe, but it was insufficient as Indian spinners dominated from the start.
