Seven players are retained by Karnali Yaks for the second season of the Nepal Premier League

Karnali Yaks has announced the players they are keeping for the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), choosing seven players from last year’s team.

Their captain and star player Sompal Kami will lead the team again. They are also keeping all-rounder Gulshan Jha and fast bowler Nandan Yadav, who has been playing very well recently.

The team is keeping four talented players from the Karnali area: Arjun Gharti, Dipendra Rawat, Unish Bikram Singh Thakuri, and Bipin Sharma. Bipin was picked through the Talent Hunt program and did great in the first season, even winning the best new player award.

However, they decided not to keep Dev Khanal. They also released Bhuwan Karki, Rit Gautam, Mausam Dhakal, and Dipak Dumre before the new season.

Karnali Yaks did well in their first season, especially after signing famous Indian player Shikhar Dhawan, which brought a lot of attention. The team reached the playoffs in their debut season.
