Emerging Stars of NPL

The NPL, which started on November 30 at the T.U cricket ground, has finished. At the end of the NPL, some players who have played for the national team or age group and some players who are new talents have shown hope.


Pokhara Avengers'left-handed opening batsmanDinesh Kharel is living in New Zealand. Although Pokhara's performance was weak, he played with high morale. His shot selection was also good. He scored 162 runs in 7 matches.


He was one of the Nepali players who scored many runs. He also said that he would like to play for the Nepali team if he gets a chance.


Similarly, Binod Bhandari, who has played for Nepal's national team for a long time, played well forSudurpaschim Royalsin the NPL. He performed well in both batting and wicketkeeping. The coach can also consider him an option for the team selection for the upcomingICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers.


Another player who showed hope in the NPL is Karnali's iconic player, Bipin Prasad Sharma. Coming from the talent hunt, he played the role of the main spinner in Karnali's bowling. Declared an emerging player, he has definitely caught the attention of the selectors, who are asking him not to give too much hype. Shortly, his subsequent performance will also open the door to the national team through his age group.


Similarly, other players who have shown hope in the NPL areBasir Ahmed, Nandan Yadav, Kishore Mahato, Naren Saud, and Bipin Khatri. Basir Ahmed is the highest run scorer while playing for Biratnagar Kings in NPL. He scored 181 runs in 7 matches. He also took 6 wickets from bowling. He is a player who has got a chance in ODI and T20I from Nepali U19 and national team. He may return to the team, who has not been included in the national team recently.


Nandan Yadav and Kishore Mahato currently live in Australia. Kishore has already got a chance from the national team, while Nandan Yadav has previously played for the U19 team. They bowled well for the team in the NPL.


Similarly, Naren Saud is currently in Nepal's U19 team. Left-arm spin bowler Narencreated a sensation by taking 5 wickets in his first match for the U19 team. He can also be a prospect for the Nepalese team shortly.


Bipin Khatri is a very good player in domestic cricket. He is a left-handed spin bowler and is also the captain of Gandaki province in domestic cricket. He took 9 wickets in 7 matches while playing for Pokhara Avengers in NPL. He has yet to play for any team in Nepal. He is among the players who are doing well in domestic cricket in Nepal.
