Janakpur Bolts edged Lumbini Lions by 1 run
On December 8, the Janakpur Bolts defeated the Lumbini Lions by a slim margin of one run at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in an entertaining 14th match of the Nepal Premier League.
The Janakpur Bolts scored 136 for 9 in 20 overs after batting first. Janakpur Captain Anil Kumar Sah provided the most scoring for Janakpur with 45 runs off 39 balls . Lahir Milantha supplied some runs with 24. The Janakpur innings faltered late as they lost six wickets and only scored 41 more runs later on.
Lumbini did bowl well as Harsh Thaker, took charge of the short run chase as he took 5 wickets for 23 runs and Lalit Rajbanshi was able to get an early wicket in 1/13.
Lumbini put up an amazing fight as they were able to score 135 for 8. Tom Moores (31 runs off 23) and Rohit Paudel (35 run off 38) put up the fight but unfortunately, Janakpur held on to just win.
